Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Panic Attacks ~ Part One

While you know how to take care of your physical health, sometimes you might have the tendency to pay less attention to your mental health, trying to be valiant in the face of insurmountable situations. It’s as if you could only think better, you would do better. A bad habit to avoid is emotionally beating yourself up when that does not happen. You need to take better care of your mind. It is the first leg of your Mind-Body-Spirit Tripod which keeps you stable as a human being. It is not a New Age metaphysical concept. It is a reality of your complete Self.

Are repeating emotions and thought patterns beginning to occur to you?

Do the same shortcomings show up at unexpected moments?

Why did I say “YES” to this project?

With physical health issues, we tend to take care of the things we need to take care of. If we ignore the first symptoms of a problem, the pain associated with the physical problem usually sends us to the doctor, even if it is inconvenient.

But mental health issues often have another hurdle to jump over. Our pride, which is fed by our insane ego, suggests to us that if we were mentally strong enough, then we could simply wish our problems away, or worse yet, our insane ego might suggest that you are feeling so good, you should get off your medications because you do not need them anymore.

NEVER GET OFF ANY MEDICATIONS WITHOUT THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR WHO PRESCRIBED THEM.

The following considerations work both for people currently on medications, and for those who are not on medications.

Let’s go back.

Twice now, I have referred to the ego as the insane ego. The ego very much wants to have a loud voice, no matter how shy you might be, to keep you alive. The ego does not like to have its voice squelched. However, the ego can make its presence known so loudly that you trip over it time after time. So, I will be referring to your unbridled ego as the insane ego.

Your insane ego can rear up when you first become aware that you might be mentally unbalanced, overly frightened or overwhelmed, by suggesting that this problem “is all in your mind,” and that, “It will go away.”

Guess what?

Problems, mental or otherwise do not go away when we do not deal with them.

It is important for good mental health, to acknowledge your feelings. Feelings are not right or wrong. They simply are. Unpleasant feelings like guilt, unworthiness, grief, and depression do not magically transform themselves by stuffing them deep, down inside you, or denying them.

First, we need to acknowledge them. Sometimes these feelings are so strong they create a physical pain, like a migraine headache, but that’s just the symptom of the emotional pain. Migraine headaches are usually not the root problem. Know this, once you identify the source of the problem and deal with it, the pain begins to lessen, while your personal power grows stronger.

Whatever you focus on grows. The more you focus on the anxiety, the more the anxiety grows. The more you concentrate on panic attacks, the stronger and more frequent they can occur. The good news is, the more you focus on relaxation, and doing the things that bring on the relaxation response, the more you will unwind and heal.

While it is not healthy to pretend that you do not have anxiety, it is healthy to have a conscious plan including self-talk and mantras. You can keep repeating phrases which are higher in vibrational frequency to yourself to re-train your mind in how to think. Yes, there are times medications are needed, but quite often using these simple self-help tools work to reduce stress, restore mental balance and increase self-esteem without them. The good news is self-talk and mantras always work, unless you stop using them.

For panic attacks, remember to breathe. Nowadays we do not breathe right. When we do breathe, we do not get the same amount of oxygen as we did a century ago due to so much pollution in the air. Plus, we are cutting down the rainforests in the world, which are the lungs of the planet. So, remember to take slow, deep breaths. After taking 15 slow, deep breaths, your blood pressure usually returns to normal.

Cutting down the Amazon Rainforest

You need to know, if this hasn’t occurred to you already, that you are not going to “feel” like doing any of this.

Once the negative habit of anxiety has rooted in you, a little voice inside of you will start by telling you, “This is stupid,” or “It won’t work,” or “I don’t feel like it.” It’s like you have the negative you on one side, and the positive at-least-wants-to-try-to-be-positive you on the other side. Realize this beforehand so you expect it, then consciously take the steps to get better anyway.

Yes, you can feel better.

To reduce stress, make sure each day includes stretching, Yoga or walking. Remember to move your body in five different directions. For example, you could do a forward bend, arch your back backwards, lean from the waist to one side sliding your hand down your outer calf or wherever you can reach, then do the same thing on the other side. Lastly, do some sort of twist, gently. None of these moves need to be extreme. They just need to be done. This helps you by releasing those feel-good endorphins. Start by doing this for five minutes, then gradually over a few days increase to 15-20 minutes each day, rain or shine.

Listen to happy music you like. Relaxing music helps a lot.

Know too that the world is not going to come to an end if you do not get everything on your to-do list done. Your head already knows this, yet somehow, we place enormous burdens on ourselves, out of a misguided goal of perfection. Accept yourself right where you are, right now, with all limitations you see. Ask your Higher-Self, your I AM Presence, for the assistance you need. It is not that you are perfect if or when you get 900 things done in a day. Give yourself permission to be you and enjoy the wonder of every moment.

LOVE ~ WISDOM ~ POWER MUST BE BALANCED FOR A CIVILIZED SOCIETY WORLDWIDE ~ IT’S A UNIVERSAL LAW OF LIFE

Spirals Are Forever series. Arrangement of vortex fractal on the subject of science technology and design. Notice the triangle building blocks of life: Love, Wisdom, Power, without which nothing exists.

Notice the numerous triangles above in this presentation of the building block energies of life. There is always the foundation of the triangle, the tripod, the pyramid of life. It is one of the sacred shapes in all creation. Under a microscope you will see triangle shapes in our blood and skin. The Universal Laws of Life are also built upon the rule of three, as in the Trinity, among other numerous examples.

The Universal Law of Life is based upon the pyramid of LOVE, WISDOM, and POWER. One aspect of this trio minus one or two of the others throws the pyramid into imbalance. Whatever is built upon a crippled pyramid will topple over. At first, this might seem obvious. Yet how many individuals, groups, and governments worldwide attempt to do just that; rule with power void of love and/or wisdom?

For perfect health and harmony of individuals, civic and social groups, as well as states and countries worldwide, the balance of LOVE, WISDOM, and POWER must be considered and implemented in order that the generation of LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS is possible for all citizens of every country, not just for the United States of America.

Without LOVE, POWER and WISDOM becomes maligned against Universal Order and Universal Law, resulting in a disfigured, fear-based society, as the days of Hitler’s Germany, little children pulling the wings off flies, or having no problem pulling nursing babies away from their mothers, separating families and inhumanly putting men, women, and children in cages void of adequate mental, physical, and spiritual care.

Without WISDOM, LOVE transforms into the Woodstock free-love expressions void of consequences and responsibilities. Without WISDOM, individuals, groups, and society worldwide regress into animalistic thoughts, words, and behaviors. Nothing ever stays the same. Humanity either moves forward or backward in relation to the paradigm used. Humanity can mature or revert further back into the animal kingdom from which humanity came. There comes a time in every age for a metanoia experience, a complete change for the betterment of humanity by reinstituting WISDOM, otherwise the society, group, or individual falls.

Without POWER, LOVE and WISDOM ponder the beauties of life without the plan and purpose POWER provides. Without POWER, individuals, groups, and governments operate like a rudderless ship sailing on turbulent seas. Endless variety of options may be considered but no decisions can be made without the use of POWER. Without POWER, individuals, groups, and governments sail along wherever the tide takes them. Often individuals, groups and governments will point fingers at what others have done to them, when the reality is that they did not use the POWER within their ability. Without POWER, individuals, groups, and governments make themselves victims, not that they are victims unless they choose to be.

The wake-up call in all these scenarios is to reintroduce the missing and necessary component of LOVE, WISDOM, and/or POWER. Like with all relationships, change need not be revolutionary. Changes can be made with the human traits of empathy, compassion, and intelligent and accurate education which opens the doors to diplomacy, possibility thinking, and peaceful negotiation as the initial options. There are many ways of problem solving that do not include sinking to the lowest common denominator. When the betterment of humankind is considered, humanity in every society as well as the Earth benefits.

The Earth is included in all the above scenarios mentioned above. The human ego might be focused on material wealth and gain at any cost, but when the Earth stops providing oxygen because humanity decided to misuse their LOVE, WISDOM, and POWER by cutting down all the rainforests, which are the lungs of the planet, or pollute the seas killing off the food supply, or heat up the Earth by blindly not caring enough about greenhouse gas emissions, then the Earth will die along with the individuals, groups, and governments that once called Earth home.

All life is built upon the dynamic energy of LOVE, WISDOM, and POWER throughout the Universe. The first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only changed from one form to another. Therefore, what began from the womb of eternity will continue to eternity, with no beginning nor end. Each individual who makes up the various groups of people and governments discussed here is a vital part of the Universal Eternal Energy life stream. Each human person is the expression and experience of the manifestation of Universal Eternal Energy currently existing on Earth.

Since eternity has no beginning nor end, humanity, as living, breathing, feeling, energetic life signatures, has the opportunity to perfect itself and the Earth in the process. Life teaches that what is sown is also reaped. Let all humanity in every country in this precious living, vibrant Earth, mature into the Loving, Wise, and Powerful individuals of every gender, ideology, race, creed, belief system, color, ethnicity, height, weight, eye-color, and every other difference the human race has shortsightedly separated themselves into.

There is more to life than one way to think. Education is key. Peace is paramount and possible. What we focus on grows. Let us focus on sending healing, loving, wise, and powerful prayers and healing energies to all corners of this beautiful Earth and all the individuals, groups, and governments existing upon it.

If we decide to use our LOVE, WISDOM, and POWER for selfish, material, or political gain, we will reap the seeds sown. If we manage to kill the Earth and ourselves in the process, it is good to remember that energy cannot be destroyed, only changed, meaning life will continue on other worlds and us in other forms of life. That is what infinity is all about. But why not try to learn life-affirming problem solving here and now?

Universal Eternal Energy is experiencing in and through us.

All is ONE.

Moral Dilemmas ~ Government ~ Politicians ~ Voters

Greed over humanity has reached critical mass in many lands in our world. We need to shift and include integrity in our humanity.

The following is a post from January 2, 2013. Truths do not change. Here we are discussing the same points to the same political dilemmas seven years later.

Moral dilemmas occur in every facet of life. One of our life lessons is to balance our needs with the needs of everyone and everything else.

When do we take care of our self, our needs, our wants, our desires?

When do we go beyond ourselves to include taking care of others, others’ needs, others’ wants, others’ desires?

It is important that we take care of ourselves. Self preservation mandates we take care of ourself first in order to have the stamina to take care of others, such as putting on an oxygen mask on an airplane before putting on your children’s oxygen mask.

But what is the boundary that marks the saturation point of critical mass of care of the self to excessive selfish, only self serving agendas at the expense of harming others?

At what point do we shift into the numbing state of egocentric blindness that appears to fall on our personal and collective moral conscience?

At what point do we stop listening to others’ points of view on any subject, and only listen to our own selfish and hurtful opinions?

Are we getting paid to do a job?

Are we students?

Are we in administration?

Are we appointed to the job?

Did we get voted in to do a job?

Do we listen to the loudest voice screaming in our head?

What is it that grabs our attention, and is important to us?

Are we swayed by peer pressure, popular opinion, financial, political or social gain?

Is it important that we win at all costs, or that we do the right thing under our watch at this time?

Is it important to eliminate all others’ points of view, vision and agendas in order that our own is the only light that shines, at the tremendous expense of human, social and financial sacrifice, as long as we win locally, nationally and worldwide?

Are we aware that everything going on in every country is seen by every other country, that we no longer live in Neanderthal ignorance, behind high walls, void of technology, science and education?

Are we truly living our conscience, our moral conviction in the face of all truths, not just the “truths” we want to see?

Do we make decisions based on integrity and honor for the good of all people, or based on personal, social, financial or political gain?

Does someone else, or something else own your soul, your voice, your mind?

Recognize that it is not socialism or any other kind of “ism,” to play your part in the betterment of humankind. Name calling another’s point of view is a deflection technique, rather than dealing with the issue at hand.

It is possible to sabotage all other attempts at the remedy if it is not our idea, our agenda, our platform. It is possible to sink an agenda, and a country, and the world if we choose not to be responsible.

It is time to get out of the sandbox.

It is not possible to build something up at the same moment you are tearing it down.

What is needed at this point in time is to do the job in a cooperative effort, making just decisions in the face of threats by bullies of every kind.

We teach our children to stand up to bullies, but it seems when it comes to healing us grownups, we adults have the backbone of a grape.

We teach our children to stand up to bullies, but it appears that political blackmail is tolerable to the paid-off politician.

We need to mature, abandon peer pressure, and do the job we are paid for, volunteered to do, or are appointed to do.

We need to be strong, courageous and valiant in the face of difficult and unpopular opinions of our time in every situation.

Courage is doing the right thing in the face of fear-based threats, in order to help humanity and our country.

It takes courage to act with integrity and honesty to stand up against friend and foe alike, in order to do the right thing for all of the people under our political or private watch, without tipping the scale of justice towards selfish greed and political and personal gain.

It takes integrity not to turn a democracy into an authoritarian dictatorship.

Now is the time for our leaders to be leaders.

Our decisions need to be balanced, or they will topple. The more out of balance the decision, the harder and faster they topple.

Now is the time for our leaders all over this world to build up, not tear down.

Now is the time to let the breath of education, science, wisdom, light, and healing to sweep through our lands, like a refreshing rain renews what was once barren, fallen, deprieved, and destitute.
