About The Author

I am Linda Hourihan, a retired, international holistic health counselor/practitioner, former feature writer for Theuntitled-5 Milford Daily News, Laconia Daily Sun, and Connecticut Post newspapers; and author of Mystery of the Sturbridge Keys, and The Virtue of Virtues.

I have enjoyed over 47 years of extensive religious training in most all mainstream religions, including New Age. I am currently studying the Nag Hammadi Scriptures. It is possible there is an unholy reason these books were taken out. They have also surfaced at this time in history for a reason. It is time we take a closer look at them.

I began  in-depth study of most religions, beginning with teaching all ages of children and adult religious classes through the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD), and obtaining the Master Catechist certification from the Worcester Diocese of the Catholic Church, studying with priests and bishops. In Catholic studies, I participated in Leader’s Schools with Cursillos, Life In The Spirit, and Marriage Encounter Seminars. I was a supernumary within Opus Dei, which is a personal prelature within the Catholic Church, under the auspicious of the Pope alone.

I continued Christian studies with Protestant Churches including: Episcopal, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran and Unitarian Universalist. I have also studied with Jehovah’s Witnesses.

As for New Age energy healing, I am a retired Reiki Master Teacher; retired New Paradigm Multidimensional Transformational Teacher; and retired Qigong Teacher, focusing on nutritional healing. For eight years, I gave monthly meditations free of change to the public.

All of this has brought me to my newest study of the oldest Bible Scriptures written, the Nag Hammadi Scriptures and the Dead Sea Scrolls. It appears there is more to know. I understand how each of the religions I have studied thus far have arrived at the beliefs they have. But what they do not know is what they do not allow themselves to read or know about. I have more to share with those who want to know. It is a challenge for most of us to allow more information in, especially if this new knowledge contradicts deeply entrenched beliefs we first learned as a child, or some other belief we have based our entire life on. Please know there is more. Keep seeking.

This is why this vital blog is written at this poignant moment in time. This blog is meant to be a light placed high on the hill, not kept under a basket. Jesus and James, in the New Testament, stress the importance of sharing this information.  Jesus taught us to keep witnessing to the truth he taught until the end of this world. James taught faith without works is dead. This blog is a means to share these truths, which has been hidden for a very long time, some for unholy reasons.

Please know there is more. If the information does not ring true for you, then just let it go by. It is not for you, or not for you now. You are always invited back if you change your mind.

Healthy cooking, physical exercise, holistic health,  meditation and prayer,  friendships, relationships, and spirituality are also important aspects of life. I share these intricacies  and insights through this blog, which has been featured online since February 2012. Thank you all for being part of this journey.

I live with my author husband, John T. Hourihan, among the beautiful lakes and forests of this beautiful world.
