When Things Go Wrong

We hear about prayer and meditation, increasing the love, manifesting our dreams, and laughter as the best medicine. But sometimes the reality is we or someone we love is fighting

Sometimes things can go very wrong. What are you going to do?

through illness, we’ve lost our job, there’s no food in the house, and the car needs tires. What do we do when things go wrong? We can be tempted to say, “The reality is, life sucks!”

Yes, life sucks sometimes. We get sick. We get fired. We go bankrupt. But this is not the end. This is a challenge so that we can authentically choose how we want to live our life. The key is, whether there is calm, or there is storm, and life will have both; we have a choice. How do we choose to live our reality from here on?

Keep in mind, you can call it reality, or from a different perspective on the same subject, you can call it an opportunity. It just as well can be an opportunity for you to shine with a creative solution, in peace, love and joy.

What do you choose to focus on, the problem or the solution?

It is necessary to take stock, look the problem squarely in the eye, and see what to do from there. But to continually only look at the problem, worry about the problem, only talk about the problem, is a very narrow view of reality. And it is actually not the entire truth. The truth has two sides for the whole picture. To only look at one side of the issue is to have a skewed view of perception.

If you choose to get depressed and stay depressed, then you can use your freedom to to stay stuck in the “poor me’s.” That is your choice. You can use your freedom to create anything you want. But if you want a way out of the current problem, seek the next highest vibration, the next lighter thought, the next positive step you could take.

Now is not forever.

Sometimes what seems to be the problem, turns out to be the greatest blessing in disguise. Drop any and all fear. Walk with your head held high with your eyes wide open. Make a plan, and a secondary plan, and as many plans as you need. There is nothing you cannot handle. Remember you are never alone. Invite in Divine Inspiration, God’s holy spirit. Ask for God’s Divine Guidance if you need it, but not as a victim, as a co-creator of your reality, because it will be through your hands that the God will work. Yours are the only hands that God has to work with here on Earth at this time. Unite your good intentions through prayer, with the work of the holy spirit.

Focusing on solutions of peace and joy are possible for every individual, social, civic, political, educational and religious group. When you breathe, breathe in peace, joy and love. When you walk, walk with peace, joy and love. When you move, move with peace, joy and love. Integrate. Integrate all the moments of your life, the good and the not so good. Bring peace, joy and love to it all.

This is how we will leave our positive footprint on the Earth.

My profile picture is a rose, symbolizing that we should all bloom where we are planted. I am planted in the garden of words of knowledge and inspiration, history and truth, quest and discovery. My latest book, MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS - CHRISTMAS UNLOCKED, has uncovered the deepest mysteries of modern time, mysteries that were planted at the start of time. The theme in this book is: There is one race, the human race. It unveils the secrets of Christmas, Santa Claus, the Magi, Jesus and how Noah's sons repopulate the world through the empires. In the process you meet Abraham Lincoln, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Harriet Tubman, and learn that former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama are eighth cousins, both with traces of English royalty through William the Conqueror and Charlemagne in their bloodlines. This book uses real history, ancient and pre-history in this dramatic, plausible fiction/fantasy novel. It took me over a year to research and a lifetime to experience.
