People Do Not Own People ~ Laxmi Sargara, I’m Proud Of You

Laxmi Sargara, I’m proud of you. You got married when you were one year old, to Rakesh, when he was three years old, about twenty years ago. It is reported that you got an annulment of this marriage. You are in charge of you, and no one else. The Divine Creator made you, and no one owns you. Thank you for standing up for women. Thank you for standing up for justice. Thank you for standing up for human equality. Thank you for standing up for fairness. Thank you for standing up for dignity. Thank you for standing up for respect. Thank you for standing up for tolerance. Thank you for standing up for mutual love. Thank you for standing up for integrity. Thank you for standing up for the abundance of all good things.

People do not own people. They cannot. People are made up of not only a body, but a mind, a spirit and a soul as well. A body might be married off, as in

The dignity of the human being is God-given. People do not own people. Laxmi Sargara, then age 18, of India, gets an  annulment after being married at age one to Rakesh, then age three, about 20 years ago.

child brides, or under the yoke of another person, as in slavery, but no matter how hard they may try, people do not own people, in the truest sense of the word. No one owns our minds. No one owns our spirits. No one owns our souls. And no one owns our bodies. We are all made in the image and likeness of the Divine Creator, all of us, no matter what country in the world we live in, no matter what type of religion we have or don’t have, no matter what type of government we have, no matter how rich or poor we are, no matter how young or old our country is or we are; if we are human beings anywhere, we are made with the Divine blueprint, which no man, woman or child owns.

Parents to not own children. Children are a gift of love, made in the image and likeness of the Creator above, pure Divine Inspiration made into the reality of people. Children have a mind, a spirit, a soul as well as a physical body created from the Divine blueprint, which no parent owns. What an obligation parents have to the Divine Creator of all, to be responsibile with the gift of life they have been given.

Employers do not own their employees, not really. An employee is a person with a mind, a spirit, a soul, as well as the physical body, all made in the image and likeness of the Divine Creator, which no employer owns. The employer has a personal, civic and social responsibility to the Divine Creator of All, to take proper care of the human life, which the employer does not own, no matter what country, religion, economic status they come from. Employers in all countries, including the United States of America, do not have a God-given right to treat the human workforce inhumanly, or with inequality in pay or otherwise.

Archaic, old-fashioned notions are still experienced in third world countries. Human rights belong to all human beings, not just those of us lucky enough to be living in highly educated, progressive countries. Human beings everywhere are the crowning jewel of all God’s creation. How do we stand up for justice, human equality, fairness, dignity, respect, tolerance, mutual love, honor, integrity, and the abundance of all good things?

Bloom where you are planted. We are not all called to jump on a plane, and go educate a third world country. Where ever you are, teach justice, human equality, fairness, dignity, respect, tolerance, mutual love, honor, integrity, LOVE and the abundance of all good things right from your home, your work, your family.

My profile picture is a rose, symbolizing that we should all bloom where we are planted. I am planted in the garden of words of knowledge and inspiration, history and truth, quest and discovery. My latest book, MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS - CHRISTMAS UNLOCKED, has uncovered the deepest mysteries of modern time, mysteries that were planted at the start of time. The theme in this book is: There is one race, the human race. It unveils the secrets of Christmas, Santa Claus, the Magi, Jesus and how Noah's sons repopulate the world through the empires. In the process you meet Abraham Lincoln, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Harriet Tubman, and learn that former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama are eighth cousins, both with traces of English royalty through William the Conqueror and Charlemagne in their bloodlines. This book uses real history, ancient and pre-history in this dramatic, plausible fiction/fantasy novel. It took me over a year to research and a lifetime to experience.
