Fear Not When Life Changes

Are you ever motivated, intimidated or crippled by fear, or frozen by life changes? Image result for picture of ancient hidden library

Our emotions are our thermostat, an indication of how we are getting along in our life. Life in general seems more fun with the happier emotions. Yet there are moments that can catch us by surprize and pull the rug out from under us. Other times our emotions can build ever so slowly and sneak up on us, so that we don’t even recognize the drain of energy they are causing. We just know we are off. How we react to fear is also affected by our personality, how we are shaped by our upbringing and circumstances, and one of the biggest fear factors, change. How well do you handle change? I believe how you handle change is an indicator of how long you will live.

Breathe. I can’t ever say that enough. When we go into fear, or talk about fear, we subconsciously begin to shallow breathe, which amounts to not breathing at all.

Relax as you read this. I am not going to tell you anything new that you do not already know here. But with this gentle reminder, you can make some resolutions that will help you get your head on straight.

Whether it is losing weight, or going outside of your comfort zone, placing yourself in new social situations, or dealing with recurrent or new phobias, or anything that pushes your emotional buttons, realize that you are perfect, right where you are, right now, in this exact moment.

You and I have to start somewhere. The best place to start in accepting where you are right now, with all of the limiting conditions you may or may not like. Take an honest look at yourself. What are your good qualities? What are things about yourself you would like to keep as you move forward? What are things you would like to change? Are your desires realistic? Are your desires unrealistic? This honest look might be the first time in a long time, that you take stock of where you are at, and where you want to go.

Fear not. Jesus says fear not. I say fear not. Fear immobilizes you, shuts you down. It is possible to move past fear of change. This is a major comfort to those of us who are faced with immediate and unwanted change, like the death of a loved one, loss of job/home/marriage, or traumatic accident or major health crisis, or mental or spiritual breakdown.

There is hope.

When you take stock of your situation, keep breathing, and realize that fear grows by not taking a close look at yourself. Fear diminishes when you shed a light on the situation. When you deal with the loss of finances, loss of your job, or any other fearful change, fear diminishes.

Make a plan, keep breathing. Your plan just might work. If it does not, make a new plan.

Invite in your spiritual helpers, your spiritual team. You are not alone. The Divine is closer to you than your next breath. Jesus says the spark of the Divine dwells within you. The kingdom is within you. Fear cannot stand against any of this. You win.

I am a Christian, ordained minister in the Universal Life Church, trained in the background and understanding of the world's many religions. Enlightenment Ministries follows Jesus' teachings and directions closely. Jesus did not have a church, and went where the people were. I now do the same with this online, worldwide ministry, because that is where the people are, online. I am in the ULC Seminary continuing education. I promote all Jesus' teachings both in the Bible, and Jesus' sayings in the Nag Hammadi Scriptures. I choose not to be called reverend, pastor, master of this or that, or any other title I formerly used. Jesus told people not to be called Rabbi, Teacher, for only one is Master. I am one with you on a faith journey. I have simply studied intensely and now share this knowledge with you. Our faith can be compared to a multi-faceted, exquisitely cut diamond. I call this the Diamond of God, with each understanding reflected in the brightly shinning facets. I know this term has been used by various groups, some have even trade marked the name. However, I have been using the term, "Diamond of God" for over 47 years, so I will continue to use my own analogy. I have never read any other description nor program called Diamond of God. Everyone has their own experience, their own faith journey. This is their lived, personal, faith, divine connection. There are truths common to many of the religions of the world. Obviously I draw the line at including those belief systems that worship Satan. However, Satan does play an unholy role in Creation, which can affect us to this day. Because of this, I will be explaining how the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Scriptures (which really were scriptures in many Bible's throughout the world until 300-400 years after Jesus) tell of Satan and what Jesus decided to do about this. The introduction of evil and sin into the world is different in the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Scriptures, than what the Bible tells us. The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Scriptures say the sin that brought evil to the world was made by the fallen angels, not humans, and the awaiting punishment from the True God, Father of Jesus belongs to them, not us. There is more for us to know and understand. I am now retired from my life's work as: international Holistic Health Counselor/Practitioner (HHCP), massage therapist, Reiki Master Teacher and New Paradigm Multi-Dimensional Master Teacher, Qigong Master Teacher, Master Catechist in teaching religious education, former feature writer with the Milford Daily News, and the Laconia Daily Sun. I am the author of The Virtue Of Virtues, and Mystery of the Sturbridge Keys, with is available at https://www.iuniverse.com/Bookstore/BookSearchResults.aspx?Search=Mystery%20of%20the%20Sturbridge%20Keys I am a 2005 graduate of the American Institute of Holistic Health & Wellness, studying under Dr. Dolores Seymour. The American Institute of Holistic Health & Wellness is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Professionals, and the National Accreditation and Certification Board. This is a lifetime and international certification. I have studied extensively in the fields of holistic health in mind, body and spirit which naturally includes counseling on all life issues, and bodywork. This blog addresses mental health, physical health and spiritual health. There are drugless therapies that work very well most of the time when applied, and have no chemical side effects, obviously, except when they are not followed. I have listed my areas of expertise. Rather than think of these as individual studies on different topics, it would be more accurate to see the various fields of study as facets on a multifaceted diamond, fully integrated. I am a former member of the Branford Hall Career Institute Advisory Board; and former owner of The Massage Clinic, LLC. I am trained in M.I.N.D.S. Holistic Alternative Psychology, with an emphasis on methods, individualized plans of action, fostering the ability of the individual to reach his or her highest potential physically, emotionally and spiritually; with advanced perspectives of positive personal growth, changing attitudes from negative to positive; enhancing intuition and self-discovery through creative endeavors, and improving health as impacted by psychological states. I work with M.I.N.D.S. Wellness & Body/Mind Consciousness, which features positive self-analysis/awareness, self-control development programs, conditioning the healing mind, controlling mood swings, anxiety, avoiding depression and raising self-esteem to its highest level. M.I.N.D.S. Meta-Psychology is person centered rather than technically oriented, and focuses on psychological health, consciousness, human possibilities, and challenges of body, mind and spiritual development. A person cannot heal in any program void of attention to their own spiritual development. As a matter of fact, many mental and physical ailments can be rooted when spiritual sickness is at the root of the problem. I am a retired certified Qigong instructor (2011), teaching Qigong healing and breathing applications for levels 1, 2 and 3. Qigong is a 4,000 year old Chinese medicine practice that moves "chi," the life giving energy of the body. The health-promoting effects of Qigong are: 1) Improves the motion of blood, warms the blood and enhances whole body circulation. 2) Stimulates appetite, sexual function, assimilation of nutrients and digestion/elimination. 3) Accelerates metabolism, weight loss, decreases need for sleep. 4) Bolsters the immune system by reducing cortisol, a known inhibitor of cytokine production. 5) Develops dexterity, reflexes, and prevents osteoporosis in clinical studies. 6) Opens arteries allowing greater brain-based microcirculation to prevent Alzheimer's disease. 7) Enhances mental acuity, focus and concentration. The Qi (chi, life force, prana) draws focus and trains the mind. 8) Helps us to calm down, relax and become more peaceful. 9) Focuses mental, physical and spiritual energies together as one. This particular Qigong Class included a food component, tying the energy of food to the energy of Qigong, and using food as medicine. Chemical medications attempt to mimic the benefits and properties of organic plant life, including fruits and vegetables and using their stems, spores and seeds. Clinical studies have been done on so many diseases, like diabetes, which can be reversed by eating certain foods high in phytochemicals. I wish to share the information I have learned about how foods work to heal our bodies. I am a 2001 graduate of the DoveStar Institute of Holistic Technology, specializing in body and energy work. Although I am trained as a Master Reiki Teacher and New Paradigm Multidimensional Therapist (NPMDT) Teacher, both of which use vibrational healing, I kept studying accurate knowledge of truth in my spiritual journey, and discovered that these are the "Old Ways" talked about. After teaching all over New England, I retired from this physical work, focusing on the “New Way” (often called “The Way”). Now this blog is my legacy, a healing gift to the world in need of hope, kindness, empathy, compassion, encouragement, truth, faith, light and love from the Good God above. I now further accurate knowledge and healing of mind, body and spirit, as Jesus taught what his Father taught him, making sure what I share is scripturally accurate. Jesus was the best healer of all. He told us what to do and how to do it, to make it through this world, and into his Kingdom to come, as he promised. There, all healing will take place to the full. In the meantime, here we all are, some of us hurting in one way or another, others of us have questions, or are simply need encouragement. There are natural remedies out there without horrific side-effects. I will share common sense solutions that work naturally. It is amazing how many of these healing remedies work with the thought processes of the mind, one of our most powerful God-given gifts we have. I will make no suggestions to any chemical solutions. I refer all who seek such remedies to see their own doctors. This is a journey, for me as well as for you. I share knowledge when I discover it. I do not claim to have all the answers. I am merely sharing my life's journey, which has taken me from Catholic roots for my first 47 years, metaphysical/spiritual approach for the next 10 years, back to conservative Christian understanding of the traditional Bible for the past 6 years. I held back from posting during these last 6 years because my study was intensive. My conclusion? I have come to understand Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit so much better. I invite you to come along with me on my spiritual quest to come to know Jesus and his and our Father better, with the insight of the creative force of Holy Spirit. The answers I have uncovered may surprise you. In my life’s physical work, some clients were referred to me by doctors prior to their patient's surgery, only to find that the surgeries were no longer needed after the massage bodywork therapy protocol. I have personally successfully helped people eliminate pain associated with: migraine headaches and sciatica; and neck, shoulder, arm, back, hip, leg and feet pain. Massage therapy should be the first protocol for muscle pains in the body, addressing pain by the least invasive method of treatment first, and prior to chemical medicinal approaches, which often have negative side effects. I operated by own business for 12 years, and personally worked on more than 5,000 of the 8,000 clients who came to The Massage Clinic for help. I believe Eastern Medicine (naturopathic and homeopathy) and Western Medicine (surgery and drug therapy) ought to work together, as in complementary approaches, rather than the alternative approach, which implies one medicinal approach over the other. Both systems need each other to be whole. Most modern healing facilities have integrated both approaches very well. Mental, emotional and spiritual crisis is often at the root of physical illness. Addressing the realities of our lives, with a direct approach and a vision for wellness and health is the key for healing. Focusing on healing leads to healing. Focusing on illness keeps people ill, mentally, emotionally, spirituality and physically. Since people's spirituality is part of their whole health and well-being, I became a Universal Life Church Inter-Faith Minister to better understand all faiths, after a life-long Catholic spiritual journey. However, I have learned that Jesus did not come so that all people could continue in the "Old Ways" (Wicca, Babylonian, Celtic, Greek, Roman and New Age false religions). It is not all the same, nor equal. Jesus lovingly came to teach us a New Way (The Way). The truth of Jesus' message is something he historically lived and died for. His message is that important. Jesus did not ever teach that inter-faith beliefs were the same message that he came to proclaim, nor something to be promoted. Jesus did not die so all people could keep all the many different religions, no matter how popular they were and still are. Jesus' "New Way," is one of peace, love, forgiveness, kindness, empathy compassion and joy. Jesus came to tell us about his Father in Heaven's sovereignty, the Kingdom to come, and how we are to live until all Bible promises are fulfilled. All of this is mentioned in the prayer he taught, known as the Lord’s Prayer, or the Our Father Prayer. Jesus did not say to hate in all its dark forms: prejudice, envy, lust, greed, pride, murder/killing, lying, cheating, stealing, slander, and all the rest of the evil inclinations, like throwing certain books of the Bible out because they clearly elevate women, both in Creation and in our everyday life. I especially love the verse in Matthew 7:1 where he says, "Stop judging!" I think that is key if we are to get along with each other in this world, and not bring God's judgment down on ourselves. Now in my retirement, this blog allows me to share what has helped so many people. I am also continuing to bloom where I am planted, in the garden of this worldwide ministry.
