“Man is a thought of God; all thoughts of God are infinite; they are not measured up by time for things that are concerned with time begin and end. The thoughts of God are fromeverlasting of the past unto the never ending days to come. And so is man, the Spirit-man. But man, like every other thought of God, was but a seed, a seed that held within itself the potencies of God, just as the seed of any plant of earth holds deep within itself the attributes of every part of that especial plant. So Spirit-man, as seed of God, held deep within himself the attributes of every part of God,” from the introduction of The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus The Christ, by Levi Dowling. This is a must-read book for those interested in this subject. It is one of those empowering gospels that have not yet found their way to be included in mainstream bibles, and may never be. But the words of Jesus, the Christ, in this book speak right to the core of the heart which is ripe for transformation into Love. It sheds light on the entire life of Jesus in India, Tibet and Western India, Persia, Assyria, Greece, and Egypt.“No one of us lives by ourselves, nor for ourselves. We are all bound by cords to every living thing. We might recognize that we really have two selves, our higher self which is human Spirit clothes with a soul, made in the form of God. The lower self, the carnal self, the body of desires, is a reflection of the higher self, distorted by the murky ethers of the flesh,” said Elihu, Mary and Elizabeth’s teacher in Zoan, Egypt as he prepared these historic women to raise their famous sons after their families fled to Egypt for safety.
The soul is the place where we work out our life, with our immortal Spirit God particle self, learning and discovering the illusions of the lower self, coming to the realization that Love is The only true answer, that we are Love, that God is Love, and yes, God lives in us when we choose to walk in harmony with this Love.
Many of us have been indoctrinated into looking for the devil under every stone. But this is not where the devil lives.
“The only devil from which men must be redeemed is self, the lower self. If man would find his devil, he must look within; his name is self. If man would find his savior he must look within; and when the demon self has been dethroned (and we have conquered our vices), the savior, Love, will be exalted to the throne of power,” chapter 8: 21-22.
We have heard this said in so many ways. We can be our own worst enemy. We need to listen to our own intuition and inner guidance system, validate our feelings and stop hiding our true selves, to begin this healing process, again and again. This is not a one time effort.
Get to know your Spirit Self better. Feed it Love, forgiveness, gentleness, understanding, and compassion. If you recognize blockages along the way, breathe Love into the situation. When all else fails, and you do not know what to do next, Love. Love conquers all.
When we heal ourselves, we heal the world.
